Batchelor and Ohio Burn Unit Break Guinness record for most people on fire!!

On September 19, 2009, a beautiful fall evening in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Ted A. Batchelor, friends and family, and the Ohio Burn Unit Team combined their spirits to take the Gunniess world record for "Most peolple on fire at the same time".

Guinness representative Danny Girton Jr. approved the record on the spot as the United States team broke the Spanish record of 12 with their group of 17 being on fire for 43+ seconds!

"It was a team effort and took approx. 8 months of training, we all stayed together to reach our goal" says Batchelor (Current holder of the Guinness record for Longest full body burn without supplied oxygen, 2 minutes 38 seconds).

The team included the "Burners" the "Igniters" Safety team and photo/video persons.

The burners with their igniters as follows:  Colby Forlani (Kevin Keesler), Forest "Woody" Martin (Kevin Finnerty), John Thome Jr. (Joe Constant), Charles Dakota Linck (Mike Riedel), Mike Lawrence (Jim Hallstrom), Rev. Batchelor (Deborah Batchelor), Schuyler White (Mario Piano), Jesse Zander (Mark Cranley), Michael Andrew Bank (Chris Germek), Jon "Knagi" Mitchell (Matt Rogers), Jeff Germek (Todd Mclaughlin), Michael "Beefy" Hallock (Mike Halagan), Ralph Bosak (David Nesbit), Greg Findley (William Roddy Jr.)
